Supporting the Frontline: A Tribute to the Fire & Emergency Services 

At Goodie International, we believe that businesses have a greater responsibility beyond business — a responsibility to give back to the communities in which they operate. As part of our unwavering commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we are proud to share a recent initiative that reflects our core values of service, care, and community development.

In September 2024, Goodie International responded to a heartfelt request from the Haryana Fire & Emergency Services, located in Sector-8, Manesar, Gurugram. Recognizing the critical role played by these brave frontline workers — who risk their lives daily to protect others — we took the initiative to support them by undertaking much-needed repair and painting work at their facility.

Fire stations are more than just buildings; they are lifelines of safety for the community. However, over time, infrastructure can deteriorate due to regular wear and tear. A clean, well-maintained environment not only boosts the morale of the personnel but also reflects the respect and appreciation they deserve from the communities they serve.

We are pleased to share that the fire department welcomed us with a fantastic reception, which included a formal parade and other activities. In a remarkable show of collaboration and mutual learning, the firefighters also conducted a comprehensive fire safety training session for the entire Goodie team — an experience that left a lasting impact on all participants.

We were deeply honored when Mr. Gulshan Kalra, Deputy Director of Haryana Fire Services, formally recognized our efforts and presented a token of appreciation to our team for our contribution.

The project was entrusted to the Berger Paints team to carry out the necessary repair and painting work. Following this initiative, the fire station received a fresh and revitalized look, significantly enhancing its appearance and atmosphere. 

As part of our CSR initiative in April 2023, we proudly donated a portable fire pump and a smoke exhaust blower to the Haryana Fire & Emergency Services, supporting their mission to protect lives and respond swiftly in critical situations. 

At Goodie International, we believe that supporting public service institutions is not merely an act of charity — it is a civic duty. When corporations and communities come together with empathy, purpose, and collaboration, meaningful change is not only possible — it is inevitable.

This project in Manesar is just one of many steps in our journey of compassion, contribution, and community development. We remain committed to contributing to society in impactful ways — not for recognition, but out of a sincere belief that progress must be shared.
