PTSD is not only a problem to an individual's mental state, but it can lead to a higher chance of suicide (a problem in declining a population). At this slow rate of helping PTSD victims, the number of suicide from PTSD victims in the years to come will proliferate. The danger of the suicide crisis purely originates from the cause of the disorder itself. Depending on what kind of trauma a victim experienced, he/she has their own severity and they own different way to show symptoms of PTSD, thus finding an ultimate cure to PTSD more difficult.
Unlike other disorders such as Anorexia, PTSD does not a definite, concluded method of curing it. The only person who can ever understand the pain experience as a of PTSD is the not the friends or family, but only the victims themselves. This lack of understanding left unchecked for too long can lead to the terrifying thought of suicide.
