Edie Lubin was awarded the Brian Carro Scholarship in 2025 and is planning on attending Illinois State University in Fall 2025.
Dylan Kang was awarded the Brian Carro Memorial Scholarship in 2024 and went on to attend the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in the Fall 2024.

To honor Brian’s memory and carry on his spirit of compassion, leadership, and service, the Golf School District 67 Foundation established the Brian Carro Memorial Scholarship. This annual award supports a graduating high school senior who embodies Brian’s values and commitment to making a meaningful impact in their community.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Must be an alumnus of Golf Middle School
Must be a graduating senior at Niles North High School
Planning to pursue a degree at a 4-year university, 2-year college, or trade school
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
Completion of application form and essay
Demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities and meaningful contributions to the community
