The Brian Carro Memorial Scholarship

To honor Brian’s memory and carry on his spirit of compassion, leadership, and service, the Golf School District 67 Foundation established the Brian Carro Memorial Scholarship. This annual award supports a graduating high school senior who embodies Brian’s values and commitment to making a meaningful impact in their community.

The scholarship is designed to recognize and encourage students who demonstrate academic effort, character, and a sincere dedication to helping others—both in school and beyond. The information below outlines the scholarship criteria, eligibility, and how to apply. 

Amount - $1,000 (non-renewable)

Criteria: Demonstrated commitment to positively impact your school or local community

​Students interested in applying for the Brian Carro Memorial Scholarship may contact the Niles North College and Career Center for the application form and further instructions.

Must be an alumnus of Golf Middle School

Must be a graduating senior at Niles North High School

Planning to pursue a degree at a 4-year university, 2-year college, or trade school

Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5

Completion of application form and essay

Demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities and meaningful contributions to the community
