1. About Us and Our Services
Goldstone PenFinTech Ltd of 35 West End, Swanland HU14 3PE provides self-service digital pension tax modelling tools.
In the current purchase cycle, access includes the 2023/24, 2024/25 and 2025/26 tax-year modellers.
Each tax year a new modeller will be released for purchase that adds the new tax year and allows members to review and update historical (closed year) data from previous tools, allowing seamless integration between modellers so you don't start all over again each new tax year.
2. Nature of the Services
Our services include self-service modellers and an optional Concierge Service. The concierge service is an administrative data-entry service only. You remain fully responsible for checking, verifying and confirming all data, and we will perform cross validation between different data types - for example payslips and your pension benefit statements to try and ensure accuracy. We do not guarantee the accuracy of extracted information, but we will carry out the service with reasonable care and skill. This service does not constitute financial advice or regulated activity.
None of our services are regulated financial advice. They do not include suitability assessments. They must not be relied upon for personal pension, tax or investment decisions. You should consider obtaining independent regulated advice or the advice of a suitably qualified accountant before making any decisions.
3. Orders and Payment
Payments are taken on order confirmation where you click to agree to our Terms & Conditions in this agreement. VAT applies at the prevailing rate, currently 20%. We only accept orders when we’ve checked them and sometimes we reject orders. You have a legal right to change your mind (with the limitations described below for different products). We may change services and pricing for future purchases, and these terms and conditions. We may suspend or withdraw services. We may end our contract with you and our our liability to you is limited.
4. Availability and Technical Factors
Our modellers rely on internet connectivity, third-party hosting and several third-party services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Events outside our control for example cyber attacks, strikes or third party failure do not entitle you to a refund; we will use reasonable endeavours to restore access.
5. Your Responsibilities
You must ensure the accuracy of all data entered and verify any pre-filled data.
6. Your Legal Right to Cancel
You can review our free offering before purchase and watch our videos to see how the tools and premium options work. Premium Modellers are a digital product. For digital premium modellers: 14-day cancellation unless the premium modeller is accessed or scenarios saved. Concierge: 14-day cancellation unless manual processing begins (please note this is normally within 2 hours, 07:00–21:00). Please take care before ordering to read any special circumstances that may have been excluded when you initially registered, for example if you have had service breaks or time out of the scheme during the relevant period, this is why we ask you to confirm this before ordering. If you still purchase concierge despite this, any use of the numbers is at your own risk and a refund will not be given after you have accessed or we have started processing your case. By accessing a premium modeller, you acknowledge that performance has begun and you lose your statutory right to cancel
7. Faults and Your Rights
Your statutory rights apply under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
8. Changes to Services
We may update modellers to reflect legal changes or improvements. A changelog is displayed at the bottom of each modeller and we suggest you review this regularly.

Continued use of the modeller after updates indicates that you accept the revised terms.
If a change materially affects your rights, we will highlight this in the changelog at the bottom of the modeller.
14. General Provisions
If a court finds any part of these terms unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Any delay in enforcing the contract does not affect our right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights to another person without our written permission. We may transfer our rights under this agreement (for example, if we restructure or sell part of our business), but we will ensure your rights are not materially affected.
Educational Purpose Only
The tool is for personal educative use only and indicates interactions between inflation, salary, annual allowance, tapered annual allowance, tapered personal allowance and income tax.
It is not a substitute for formal financial advice from an accountant or suitably qualified financial advisor. The output of this calculator should not be relied upon for decision making.
If you do not understand this you are advised to seek formal financial advice. Use this at your own risk.
Commercial use of this modeller for profit is expressly forbidden. Please get in touch regarding licensing queries if you wish to use these calculations within workflows for your own clients.
Tool Applicability
The tool only works for members who have remained in the scheme for the relevant years and have not opted out at any point.
For improved accuracy, members should complete the RPSS process and understand their position for 23/24 and 24/25 to calculate carry-forward.
This tool is not suitable for members taking retirement or partial retirement in any of the tax years covered.
Data Quality
As with any modeller, accuracy depends entirely on the accuracy of the information entered. Rubbish in = Rubbish out.
Industrial Action Days
For simplicity, the tool only covers disallowed days from industrial action in 23/24 where they may affect most members and have a minor effect on 1995/08 growth.
Practitioner Growth Assumptions
Some policy questions remain unresolved regarding practitioner growth in the 1995 scheme following the 'CPI disconnect fix'.
The modeller currently applies a practitioner growth estimate of 1.5% above inflation, aligned to the policy intention that growth related solely to inflation should not be charged.
However, this remains a fluid policy area; final mechanisms may differ, and results should be treated as basic estimates only.
This calculation is illustrative and provides a simplified view of NHS practitioner calculations based on Regulation 72 rule factor of 1. FVEC effects are excluded.
No Regulated Advice
We are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to provide regulated financial advice.
Responsibility for Data and Interpretation
You are fully responsible for the data you enter and for interpreting outputs. Neither Goldstone PenFinTech nor its technical advisors accept responsibility for data errors, output accuracy, interpretation or decisions arising from modeller use.
Accuracy and Validation
We cross-check modeller outputs against other tools and obtain external expert review. We believe it provides a reasonable good-faith estimate under current tax and pension rules, but no warranty is given.
Concierge Validation
The Concierge Service performs checks comparing payslips, statements and TRS data. A validation report is provided. You remain responsible for verifying all data.
No Liability for Reliance
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for reliance on modeller outputs, decisions taken, tax consequences, or circumstances outside our control.
The modeller will cover most member types but note the following exclusions where estimates may be unreliable and any use is at your own risk:
Members who have had any break from the pension scheme after April 2022 (or 2015 if in 2008) if using the standard or premium modellers. However those with gaps in the scheme may have the gaps added via our concierge service but this is outside the remit of what can be delivered in a self service modeller.
Members who have concurrent Officer and Practitioner roles
Members who have transferred in from another public service pension scheme
Members who have bought additional pension
Members with special class status or ‘MHO’ (for scheme pays estimates)
Member with ERRBO (for scheme pays estimates)
Members who retire in any tax year covered in the 3 years covered by the modeller. Members who have retired and taken all 1995 or 2008 benefits may use the modeller in 2015 only mode and only put in pay values from 2022
Divorce and pension sharing orders are not explicitly covered. However those with pension sharing orders in the scheme may have this added via a bespoke concierge service but this is outside the remit of what can be delivered in a self service modeller / standard concierge. Enquiries for bespoke modelling should be made to info@goldstonepenfintech.com
