Jewish Scholar: Author of Jewish Law in American
Tribunals and many articles on Jewish law appearing in law reviews of several law schools.
Mr. Meislin lectured on Jewish law at Oxford University and in Jerusalem before the International Association of Jewish lawyers and Jurists.

The library is closed to students during Tefila.
The library is generally closed to High School students during Middle School Recess.
The library is generally closed to Middle School Students during high School Lunch.
The Library may be closed at times during the day when classes meet in the library, or when teachers have scheduled time for their class to do research in the library. Please see the library schedule for specific information.
General Circulation Policies:
Most books circulate for a flexible 2 week loan period.
DVDs circulate overnight.
Reference books do not circulate. Overnight exceptions may be made under special circumstances, and at the librarian's discretion. Please see Mrs. Ulric if you feel you need a reference book overnight. Failure to return Reference books the next day will result in loss of the privilege from that time on.
Voices should be kept low so as not to disturb students trying to work.
Do not sit on the tables, or otherwise mistreat the furniture.
HS - Use of electronics is allowed, but please be considerate of other people. You are expected to use headphones to limit noise in the library. Exceptions may be made, but you may be asked to turn off sound at any time.
MS - Computers may be used for school work only.
Male-identifying students must wear kippot at all times.
Treat everyone with respect.
Middle School: MS students must eat lunch in the Ulam or other assigned eating spaces.
High School: HS Students may bring their lunches to the library (please - nothing smelly). Students must clean up after themselves, or the privilege will be revoked.
Drinks with closeable lids are allowed. Drinks must be kept closed except when being drunk to avoid spills.
Food (when allowed) and drink may only be consumed at the tables in the library.
The photocopier is available for individual copies of research materials, and other appropriate uses. Please double-side your copies to save paper. If you need to copy or print more than 15 pages, please ask the librarian for permission.
If you need to make sets of a presentation for a class, it should be given to the teacher in advance. The library photocopier may not be used to make multiple classroom sets of presentations.
The photocopier is also the printer for the library computers. The is NO color copier available for students.
The photocopier is intended for student individual use. Teachers needing to make classroom sets should use the faculty room photocopier.
Of course! We have 8 desktop computers with the Adobe Creative Suite.
Computers in the library are for school-related work and research.
The library has a limited number of chromebooks which can be checked out for a period or a day if your personal device is having an issue.
In general, the library does not charge overdue fines. However, fines may be charged at the librarian's discretion in individual situations in order to foster a greater sense of responsibility, and ensure timely access to materials for all students.
Charges are as follows:
Regular 2-week material: 25¢ per day
Reference (overnight): $1 per day
Videos/DVDs (overnight): $1 per day
Charges max out at the replacement cost of the book.
Avoid charges by returning library material on-time. Regular 2-week material may be renewed in the library, provided that a request has not been made for it. Reference books MAY NOT be renewed. There will be no charges for days that school is closed.
Notices will be sent when possible, but you are responsible for knowing when your material is due.
Report cards will be held at the end of the year until your library record is cleared by returning or paying the replacement cost for all lost materials.
