Getting students started
Once your students experience the connection and support available through Pear Deck Tutor, we know they'll come back again and again. Our How-to Guide for students provides step-by-step instructions to help them get started.
Once you've downloaded the right version, we recommend sharing it with students, parents, and teachers via email – or even printing out some copies to have in the library, classrooms, and other shared spaces.
Requesting tutoring in a specific language
Besides requesting a live tutoring session on-demand, students also have the option to browse tutors of their selected subject to find one that matches their language preferences.
Through the Browse Tutors page, students can search for a subject, apply any filters, and review the profiles of the tutors. They can send the tutors of their choice a message to ask a question or discuss a day and time for a future session. When the tutor is online, they can click on "Start a session" to enter the Lesson Space for live, one-on-one support.
