Gogga's Nest is located on the banks of the private Tubungu Dam, in Matsapha, Eswatini, just 5km from the Industrial area. It is a little haven that is close enough to the hustle and bustle of town but far away enough to feel like you are out in the bush.
Gogga's Nest is a small family run business along with the amazing management and staff team. The owners are husband and wife, Gary and Lettie Emmett, who are no strangers to hosting and accommodating guests. What started out as their beautiful home, some would say quickly, but we say over time, turned into what Gogga's Nest is today.
The house was built in 2019, and they moved in on 7th December 2019. In 2022, they decided that they needed to share their beautiful space with people. Gary and Lettie started the B&B with just the Oregan Cottage and the Restaurant with just a pub Menu. The B&B quickly became busier, so the 2 Executive Suites, which are part of the house, where incorporated into the B&B
In 2023, the B&B grew when Gary and Lettie purchased the 3 bedroom house next door. Slowly changing it into a 5 bedroom house, each room having its own private entrance and bathroom. We now have 9 different rooms, each with its own character and style, but all with Smart TV's, en-suite bathrooms, private entrances and beautiful views of the Dam and/or the gardens.
The restaurant (The Nest) menu slowly changed from an A5 pub menu into the menu it is today, by running specials on meals they wanted to add. The ones that people really liked are the ones that made it onto the Menu. The Nest is on the front of the house over looking the rolling lawns and the beautiful Tubungu Dam.
Gogga's Nest has hosted many weddings, birthday parties, engagements, graduation parties, Wine tasting dinners, Special Date Nights, Valentines Dinners with special menus, team building events and a whole lot more.
Whether you are traveling for work or leisure, or just wanting a bite to eat, Gogga's Nest has just about everything you need. If you are a restaurant or B&B guest, you can relax at The Nest or take a stroll around the gardens, and you can bring your fishing rod with and try your luck at catch and release fishing.
As Gogga's Nest we pride ourselves in making every guest feel welcome and at home. We try our utmost best to stick to our motto of "arrive as a guest and leave as a friend".
