Missing Assignments: The student is responsible for checking to make sure all of their assignments have been completed and turned into the teacher. If a student is absent, it is their responsibility to come to the teacher to get any and all work that was missed. 

Absent Work: Students who receive an EXCUSED absence may turn in work with the addition of days they were absent. (Example: 1 day absent = 1 day extra, 2 days absent = 2 days extra) STUDENTS are RESPONSIBLE for collecting absent work and completing the assignments in the appropriate time limit. If during remote learning, please contact Mr. Fluty as soon as possible if you are ill or have a situation come up. (Not completing work due to lack of time management or responsibility is not a situation.)

Late Work Policy: Any assignment that is turned in after the due date will be graded as follows:

1 Day Late = 70% Credit

After 1 Day Late = 70% Credit for any assignment turned in within a week of the due date.

All work after 1 day late is 50% credit until the last day of the unit. After the unit is over, work will not be accepted.

Mr. Fluty will not ask for late work, you must turn it in if you want credit.

Quiz: A quiz is an assessment that will have 15 or fewer questions on it. You will usually see muiltiple-choice or true/false on a quiz. The quizzes will cover a few sections rather than a larger amount of material.

Test: A test is an assessment that has 15 or more questions on it. You may see multiple-choice, true/false, matching, or essay questions over the material. A test will usually have a study guide or a prep to go with it to help you study.
