About Me!
I’m originally from a small town in southeastern Minnesota and moved to Wichita, KS in 2022 to be closer to my husband, who works as a meteorologist here. We share our home with our sweet 4-year-old lab mix, Dolly—truly the kindest dog I’ve ever met!
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, catching up with friends and family, crafting, baking, cooking, and relaxing with a good movie or TV show on Hulu, Netflix, or Disney+. I also love quality time with Dolly, whether it’s on a walk or just hanging out at home.
I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater, where I majored in Secondary Mathematics Education (grades 7–12) and minored in Athletic Coaching, with hopes of coaching dance or softball in the future. I'm currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Emporia State University.
I’m excited for the upcoming school year and look forward to getting students actively engaged and thinking critically in the math classroom!
