Hi!  My name is Liz Ewing and I am so excited to be teaching third grade at Apollo this year!  More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your child’s teacher!  It’s going to be a fun year full of learning and new adventures, and I can’t wait to see what the upcoming months have in store for us.  I am so thankful that you are entrusting your child with me, so let me tell you a little bit about myself!

I was born and raised in Wichita and attended Goddard Schools. After that, I went to the University of Kansas (go Jayhawks!) where I completed my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and my Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction.  This will be my 16th year teaching! 

I am married to my wonderful husband, Shane Ewing.  We have a nine-year-old daughter named Brynn (Apollo 4th grader), a seven-year-old son named Beckett (Apollo 2nd grader), and a four-year-old daughter, Blaire.  They definitely keep us busy, but have completely filled our hearts with love! When we aren’t running around to our kiddos’ different sports and activities, we love to travel as a family, go out for ice cream (or let’s be honest, coffee for Shane and me!), and check out all the family-fun things Wichita & Goddard have to offer! 

I am so excited that your child is in my class this year!  I just know we are going to have an amazing school year, full of learning and laughter.  Always know I am available to answer any questions or concerns you may have!
