Hello! I am excited to be teaching at EMS, I love middle schoolers! 

About Me: I'm married to Tom, who happens to teach/coach at EMS as well, and we have 5 kids (one married into our family), and two very active granddaughters; Vera and Avery. Our oldest daughter, Tess, is married to Steven and they are V & A's parents. Trey, our oldest son, is 31 and is passionate about music, especially guitar. He is also an avid reader. Roman is 24 and just started a new job at Textron Aviation in the communications department. Jillian is our youngest, and she will be a junior this year at WSU. She plays the viola for the WSU Symphony, and is pursuing a degree in music education. 

Our family stays really busy and we love it that way. I'm passionate about rescues, and our family has fostered/adopted several furry family members in the recent years. Currently, we have 5 fur family members; Peanut, Willa, Rosie, Humphrey, and Luna who is Jillian's cat. Peanut is an energetic poodle mix, and Willa is our lover. She was a mill rescue and has come to know the power of being part of a family. Rosie and Humphrey were fostered and adopted together, and Humphrey is currently in training to become a therapy dog. He will accompany me to EMS this year. 

Besides being a pet family, we also enjoy outdoor activities and sports. In addition to coaching at EMS, Tom is the EHS head baseball coach. He also coaches a summer baseball team, so I attend lots of baseball games! Our oldest granddaughter has just began participating in sports, so we attend her games as well. Our youngest granddaughter, Avery, is almost 2 and isn't competing in sports yet, but does loves playgrounds and our backyard pool, so she also keeps us VERY busy!
