You will need to either download the Classdojo app, or you will need to remember to check the website often. www.classdojo.com
This is the only place I will send information other than the monthly calendar I send home.
I will also send photos, videos, and posts about what we are doing in class.
YES! We will celebrate birthdays during our snack time 2:40-2:50.
Summer birthday? Half Birthdays are also celebrated!
You may send cupcakes or cookies to school in the morning. I will pass them out, we will sing Happy Birthday, and I will take a picture and send it to you!
If you want to send party favors, that is fine, but they must be ready for me to just hand out.
If you send invitations, you need to send enough for everyone!
YES! You are more than welcome to come eat lunch with your child at any time. You do not need to let the school know unless you plan to eat school lunch.
You may also bring your child a lunch from somewhere when you come.
Lunch is 11:20-11:45.
YES! We will have a snack time from 2:40-2:50 each afternoon.
I ask that each family send a case or two of individually packaged snacks for the class to share. This gives them a large variety of snacks to choose from. Your child may choose one snack from the drawer each day. I will send a note home when the snack supply gets low. If you are willing and able to donate more than your share, it would be very much appreciated! I will also add snacks to the drawer. I do have a refrigerator above the drawer to hold cold snacks.
Ideas:
Cheez-its, goldfish, fruit snacks, snack cookies, cheese sticks, applesauce to go, Go-Go SqueeZ Yogurt, pretzels, sun chips, granola bars, sandwich crackers, cereal bars, veggie straws, etc.
YES! I strongly encourage you to send a water bottle to school with your child.
HOWEVER the water bottle MUST BE one that has an easy-open, locking lid. Too many times students do not get a cap screwed back on correctly and it spills, soaking other kids' backpacks and jackets.
They are welcome to leave the bottle here and refill it each morning. They MUST have their name on the bottle!
