As a science educator, I will commit to creating a learning environment that is safe and interactive. My ideal classroom is where you experience science using current practices with a creative approach, while consistently collaborating and communicating those experiences.

I earned a Bachelor's Degree from Pittsburg State University (GO GORILLAS) and a Master's Degree from Wichita State University. 

I am married to Bill. I have a cat named Ricky! I love spending time with them! I also love to read, complete puzzles, travel, and exercise. I am also known to have a bit of a sweet tooth. On my travels, I will seek out a variety of cupcake stores to sample a variety of flavors.  After all of that, I am also good for taking a nice long nap!
