The J. L. Lomax Elementary School Library Media Center provides accessibility for students and staff from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. each school day. The Media Center operates on an open/flexible scheduling concept, allowing for all patrons to use its services throughout the day. The mission of the library media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. The Media Specialist, Mrs. Sermons, collaborates with classroom teachers to design, and implement lessons using resources and technology.
