Social opportunities
Make new friends in school and in other schools when you participate in band events!
Go to Band Camp! You will get to stay on a college campus for a week. There, you will meet new friends, go to fun night activities such as karaoke, movie night, game night, and a dance!
Traveling opportunities
Band members will have the opportunity to go to places such as... High jinx, water parks, and other amusement parks.
Travel around the state for games, competitions, and for fun!
Travel out of state and out of the country!

Learning opportunities
Musical training will help develop the areas of the brain related to language, reasoning, and creativity.
Learn how to work in a team!
Learning an instrument takes time and practice. You will learn patience, persistence, and responsibility.
Students who practice an instrument can improve their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
Band teaches life skills that you can build off of for the rest of your life.
