If you are a student, or adult, wanting to volunteer in serving our community through the thrift store, please click the orange sign-up button below to schedule your shift. We are trying to be open every SATURDAY and possibly a few Sundays. Please complete the forms on our school website before signing up for a time. Our mission
Our mission
Student Media Thrift is a non-profit business that recycles money back into the community. We rely on volunteer students, teachers, and community members. We aim to use the funds we raise to improve our community through various projects. This includes painting houses, cleaning yards, and more.
If you would like to make a financial donation, item donation, or if you are an adult who would like to volunteer, please contact our Student Media advisor, Chad Wilson, at 903-852-5278 or email him at wilsonc@gobearsgo.net
Our store is located right off Highway 31 in the lot in front of Union Hill Baptist Church, formerly home of a party venue and a car dealership.
As of August 2025 the HOURS are:
Saturday, from 9 AM until 3 PM and Wednesday, from 4 PM until 6:30 PM - as volunteers are available.
