SubmitTING Photos
If you have photos that you would like to share with the Guide staff to potentially appear in this year's yearbook, there are a couple of ways you can do that:
Email your photos-You can email your photos to ahsguide@goarrows.org. Make sure to include the photographer's name and, if you know it, who is in the photo.
Send your photos through Yearbook Snap-You can submit them through Walsworth's Yearbook Snap (the previous link will take you to the website). To submit through the app, download the "Yearbook Snap" app from the Apple Apps Store or Google Play, search for "Ashland High School," and enter the school's code: arrows24. Then you can upload and submit your pictures directly to us.
Share your photos with a yearbook staffer-If you know a student who is working on the yearbook staff this year, you can email your pictures directly to them.
Tips to help your photos to be more likely to appear in the yearbook:
Send the full-sized picture. Screenshots from social media posts make your photos tiny, which causes them to be blurry and pixelated on our website, which is definitely not what we want for our book.
Make sure everyone is fully-clothed. If someone sends a shirtless picture, even if it's after an athletic event, your photo likely won't appear in the yearbook if we can find any other picture.
Don't use your iPhone's zoom. We know this sounds strange, but if you zoom in before you take the picture, your picture is far more likely to come out blurry or pixelated. Our recommendation is to take the picture at regular zoom and then crop the photo. It will likely turn out clearer than if you had zoomed.
