The Ashland High School esports program is an opportunity for students to participate competitively through video games.  Esports is defined as, “the activity of playing computer games against other people on the internet, often for money, and often watched by other people using the internet, sometimes organized events.”  The AHS esports team competes with other high schools within Ohio. AHS esports team members will not be playing for money and may not play with another competitive esports team while on the AHS esports team.  Esport players can now earn a varsity letter. The goals of the team are as follows:
