General Details
Whenever you join us in KG, whether at the start of the school year or partway through, it is always an exciting time for both parents and students. Every family and student has unique needs and experiences their own transition process.
To ensure a smooth adjustment into the Early Childhood setting, all new students will be dismissed at 12:00 pm during their first week of school.
Once your child begins the full-day program, the regular pick-up time will be 2:50 pm (and 2:00 pm on Wednesdays). Please log into the dismissal platform to let us know the names of the adults authorised to pick up your child. If there is any change in dismissal arrangements, kindly inform us in advance, including the expected pick-up time.
We offer a cooked lunch for all students. If you would like your child to have lunch provided by the school, you will need to have signed a contract with Stradale. Otherwise, please send a packed lunch from home.
Please contact the medical team, at medical_office@goaisb.ro if you have any new or updated medical information about your child (e.g., allergies or medications).
Parking will be available on campus for parents with a valid parking sticker. If you do not yet have a valid sticker for this school year, please complete the form and return to the ELC Reception to receive your parking sticker(s). (Last year’s parking stickers are valid only until 31 August 2026).
Please ensure your contact information is updated in Veracross. If you experience any difficulties updating this information, please contact our Technology Manager, Laura Amza, at lamza@goaisb.ro.
If you wish to discuss any concerns or questions, please feel free to make an appointment with your child’s teacher via email at jkeehn@goaisb.ro or tshand@goaisb.ro.
We look forward to working closely with you to support your child’s growth and development in KG.
Warm regards,
The KG Team
What shall we bring to school?
1-2 sets of spare clothes, more socks are needed (to be kept at school)
indoor shoes (laces are ok if your child can manage independently).
wet and cold-weather outdoor clothing to remain at school.
hat for outdoor protection.
sunscreen must be applied at home before arrival at school.
snack and/or lunch, if you prefer to provide a home-packed food.
reusable water bottle
waterproof bag for borrowing library books.
Please label all items with your child’s name, including shoes, water bottles, jackets, spare clothes, outdoor clothes, and the library book bag. This is important because it helps prevent belongings from getting lost or mixed up. It also helps your child recognise and look after their own things.
Please ensure that all clothing is easy for your child to manage independently, requiring minimal adult assistance. This helps build confidence and independence through dressing.
On PE days, please make sure your child wears comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. We kindly ask that children wear trousers, shorts, or leggings instead of tights (pantyhose) or dresses. This will help them feel comfortable and ready to enjoy PE.
Please return your child’s library books in their waterproof library book bag on their library day. This helps keep the books safe and dry and enables them to borrow new books each week.
