Short Biography
Dr. Pethe received his B.E. (Hons.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from BITS, Pilani Rajasthan. Subsequently, he earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA. From 2007-2018, Dr. Pethe worked in various roles across semiconductor companies in the SF Bay Area in the areas of logic and memory technology development. He has led teams involved in transistor development in sub-20nm nodes and 3D NAND memory development at 2X nodes. He has wide experience dealing with teams across various countries, including USA, China, Taiwan, and India. He is an author/co-author on 8 US patents. In the summer of 2018, he relocated to India and joined his alma mater as faculty in the Department of Electrical, Electronics, and Instrumentation Engineering at the BITS Pilani K.K. Birla Goa Campus.
