You must apply for a job-seeking residence permit at the National Immigration Agency within 10 days after receiving your graduation certificate.

Avoid delays that could affect your future visa or residency status

Taiwan university diploma
Job-seeking plan
Valid passport and color copy
2-inch color photo (white background, no hat)
Current rental agreement (if address changed)
Go to National Immigration Agency Service Center to extend your ARC.
Note: Must apply in person.
Look for a job during your job-seeking residence period (up to 12 months).
If not found, you may apply for one extension (up to another 12 months).
Once you get a job offer, your employer submits the work permit application, requiring similar documents as your ARC application.
Processing Time: about 7–12 working days
After work permit approval, bring the approval documents to the Immigration Agency or online.

A job-seeking residence permit is not the same as a work permit, and you are not allowed to work during this period!
