To assist international students in successfully developing their careers in Taiwan and enhancing their employment prospects after graduation, the University of Taipei established the "UTaipei International Student Taiwan Career Development Center" in 2025, supported by the Ministry of Education's "Professionalization Project for International Students' Employment Guidance in Taiwan for Higher Education Institutions."
The Hub leverages the university's strengths in education, humanities, arts, design, and leisure sports, collaborating with industry partners to plan professional courses, Mandarin proficiency training, lectures, company visits, and internship opportunities to cultivate international talent that meets the diverse needs of Taiwan's industries.
The Hub also establishes mechanisms for career counseling, job matching, and legal and administrative guidance to help international students understand the Taiwanese employment environment, enhance their career skills, and provide pathway planning for staying in Taiwan. Furthermore, the Hub continuously tracks graduates, connecting international alumni with resources from their alma mater to form a comprehensive support network for international students' studies and work in Taiwan.
