We are currently progressing through the recruitment phase of Work Package 1, and we are pleased to report that we have already recruited 30 participants.
So far, this represents more than 100 hours of experimental sessions combining MRI and TMS, providing the core data that will drive the next steps of the project.
We are grateful to all participants for their time, commitment, and contribution to the research.
In October 2025, María took part in NEURAL 2025 – Emergent Properties of the Connected Brain Workshop, held at the Institute of Bioimagerie (IBIO) in Bordeaux, France, an immersive five-day workshop delving into the complexities of brain connectivity and its emergent properties.
This experience provided María with valuable insights and practical skills that will directly contribute to the project’s ongoing work.
Between September and December 2025, Joaquín completed a research stay at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig, Germany, working with the Cognition and Plasticity (CoPla) Group.
During his stay, he preprocessed a pilot of neuroimaging data using fMRIPrep, ran key activation and functional connectivity analyses, and helped set up quality control procedures and standardized workflows. He also developed models for connectivity and activation studies and carried out gPPI and BSC analyses.
This has been a great boost for the project’s data analysis phase—well done, Joaquín!
