Mar Martín-Signes
I am a postdoctoral researcher (PAIDI contract, Junta de Andalucía) at the Mind, Brain and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC) of the University of Granada (Spain).
I obtained a BA in Psychology and a Master Degree in Cognitive Neuroscience. I obtained my PhD in Psychology with Professor Ana Chica in 2021. I worked as a postdoctoral researcher with Professor Michel Thiebaut de Schotten at the University of Bordeaux (France). In 2024, my project TMS-RECOM was granted by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by ERDF/EU.
My research interest is the understanding of the underlying anatomo-functional neural systems in healthy humans, specifically for attentional processes. I employ psychophysical paradigms, neuroimaging, and neuromodulation methods, such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI).
