Instead of having a more standard summer school focused on methods, we will have a space to discuss the conceptual challenges of studying representations. We will have daily talks in the mornings and more interactive joint activities in the afternoons:
Keynote and junior talks, where high-profile experts in the field will cover the basis for understanding and critically examining the concept of representations. These talks will delve into the latest research findings, theoretical debates, and methodological advancements in the study of representations, shedding light on how these insights can be applied in various branches of cognitive science.
Poster sessions, where all students from the summer school will present their work in the context of neural representations.
‼️(all posters must be printed in size A0 (84.1 cm x 118.9 cm) with vertical orientation)‼️
Collaborative projects, where the students and faculty will work together to develop specific topics within Representations in Cognitive Neuroscience. These projects will lead to outcomes such as a first draft of an opinion paper, a pre-registration of a potential experiment, an idea for a future grant, etc.
