珊瑚礁魚類生態與保育實驗室

Overview

We study the effects of anthropogenic activities on the the ecology and biology of coral reef fishes, both in the field and through laboratory experiments. The anthropogenic activities we investigate include overfishing, noise pollution and tourism effects. These data allow for the improvement of marine protected areas and fisheries management. Our overall aim is to create a better balance between marine resource utilization and marine conservation, to achieve sustainable and healthy fisheries in Taiwan.
