Community Service

From Summer 2021, I have been volunteering and helping out with curating over 5 thousand Native American artifacts. Meeting at least once a month for 4 hours at a time, I catalogued the artifacts and sorted them.

1 hour. I created inspirational cards for those in hospice care. To cheer them up and help them get their minds off of their condition, I made sure they were colorful and uplifting.

From January 19th, I have been volunteering twice a week to help children complete their homework. Being from an urban area, it is difficult for them to concentrate and focus on their work. 20 hours.

2/8 - In Circle K we completed multiple coloring pages. They will be distributed to children in hospitals in need of a smile, due to their circumstances. 1 hour.

2/11 - Stockton Circle K teamed up with Key Club to help Northfield-Linwood Kiwanis in their Adopt- A-Road. We collected 4 bags of recyclables and waste. 2 hours.

2/15 - In Circle K we completed multiple coloring pages for children in hospitals. They will bring a smile to the children's faces. 1 hour.

2/14 - Helped out at an Aktion club meeting, which is the Kiwanis club for disabled people. Their valentine's-themed meeting brightened the day of the members. 1 hour. 

2/16 - Marched to honor Black History Month and BLM. Joined fellow students to raise awareness of blackness on campus. 1 hour.
