Objectives and Standards

During this lesson, you will learn about how World War II impacted both America and the world. Along with the causes of the war, there are other important concepts to hit upon. At home, America was facing both positive and negative (i.e. The Great Depression) domestic issues. Along with this, there were major leaders in other prominent countries were having their own issues in regards to the war going on.

After watching these videos, you students will be able to see how World War II was greatly impacting the entire world. You will be able to connect these international issues to synthesize how America was being affected by the Great Depression. All of these things go hand in hand, and you will be able to make these connections.

- Analyze the roles of various alliances among nations and their leaders in the conduct and outcomes of the World War II.
