Spelling Notebooks

Here is some important information about your child’s notebook:

• Spelling notebooks will go home on Fridays and are due back the following Friday. 

• Every week, students will receive a new choice board in their notebooks. 

• Students will be responsible to complete 3 activities per week from the choice board that is stapled into their notebook. 

• Please work with your child to reinforce the Fundations concepts by using the activities on the choice board.

• Each choice board will include sample words that align with our Fundations Level 2 curriculum. 

• There will be an assessment given every Friday. The sample words given do not need to be memorized for this test. We will be testing the skills taught in the unit and words will be picked at random for the assessment.
