Procedure for booking the QCM-D

Getting Started

If you have decided that you would like to use the QCM-D for your research, but need to get some further details about how it works and how you might set up an experimental design, please feel free to email bhprager@olemiss.edu for more information.

Booking the Instrument

Regardless of whether you are a new user or return user, you will need to fill in this booking sheet, and provide details about your samples and intended experiments.  If you are a new user, the first booking to be made must be training, and this will be held each Friday (maximum of three new users per session).  Refer to the QCM-D booking Calendar below to help you make your choice/s.

Please fill in the same booking sheet for all subsequent days you wish to book this instrument.  You will get a better idea of how long you will need for the equipment once you have completed the training.  Please refer to the booking calendar to see which times are presently available.

We aim to get back to you within 1-2 business days of your request.  We may contact you to clarify some details and help us finalize your booking requests, so please ensure that you provide current contact information.  If you do not hear from us by this time, please send a follow-up reminder to this email:  qcmd@olemiss.edu.
