These two sides of Holly Springs are like a Jekyll and Hyde town and can really show the dichotomy of how long racial norms and stereotypes can truly hurt a town in the long run. This not only shows up in the literal frames and structures and maintenance of said structures but also in the actual relationships across the whole city. Holly springs is ripe for a rebrand and ripe for people to come and put much deserved money and attention to all parts of the towns and for all people of the town.
Not even a block off the square lies this microcosm of the two Holly Springs. Both an abandoned building and new construction for a new builiding sit side by side.
A for sale sign sits outside of Bufords storefront. This sign and many like it are common place in the square of Holly Springs.
A true oxymoronic facade sits on the square. While the outside looks totally abandon still a wreath sits outside of the door to signify the keeping up of the changing of seasons.
