Social Emotional Lessons
SE lessons help students acquire skills in self-confidence development, motivation to achieve, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. SE lessons are based on the American School Counselor Association as required by the LISD Guidance & Counseling Services. Other topics include:

Individual Planning
Assists students in planning and evaluating their educational pathways. Transition to middle school begins late in the Fall. For information regarding school transfers, please, contact student services
Responsive Services
Addresses the immediate concerns of students through prevention and intervention services. Crisis counseling is provided confidentially within legal and ethical standards. Consultation may result in referral to district and/or community agencies that can best address students’ needs.
System Support
Includes indirect activities intended to benefit the student. These may include administrative & support services such as: inputting student specific information for Section 504 and Response to Intervention (RTI), testing, event planning, and support programs sponsor.
