MEET THE ONES THAT MAKE IT HAPPEN!
How it began...
“After a sad experience in 2001 when our faculty donated gifts to an angel tree and we learned gifts didn't go directly to the children, I knew we as a district and strong community could provide better for our students and families. Now 23 years later, the LISD Angel Gift Program is one of the most rewarding projects that we have ever started. I’m proud Lewisville High School has continued this campaign and even more excited it is open to all of Lewisville ISD. Over the past few years, we have added more and more schools from across the district that requested to be a part of the program. Every school counselor is invited to submit names for the LISD Adopt An Angel Gift Program.
The students involved in this project are changed forever. They learn that working hard for another human being’s happiness can also bring happiness to your life. The campaign also teaches students how to plan, organize and carry out a project of this size. They all become better individuals and stronger leaders because of their work on the Adopt An Angel Program.
It makes me so happy to know children will have a better holiday by the actions of LISD’s schools and communities." With the help of Valley Creek Church, we now have a large warehouse to organize and wrap each angel's gifts. We are so thankful to our entire community of LISD!

STUDENT CHAIRS FOR THE LISD ANGEL PROGRAM
“Our Angel Gift Program is so special because it gives us the opportunity to significantly impact children and their families throughout Lewisville ISD. The program supports those with financial struggles not only by gifting them with toys and games, but by supplying necessities, such as clothing and gift cards for groceries. The child you’re adopting could be a neighbor, a classmate or even a good friend."
