ALL DONATIONS MAY BE BROUGHT TO: Garden Ridge Elementary School, 220 S. Garden Ridge, Flower Mound, TX 75028 from the hours of 4pm - 7pm weekdays from December 5 - 12 or Saturday Dec. 6 from 9am - 4pm to the attention of Allison Stamey, Angel Coordinator.

The LHS Adopt An Angel Gift Program has been a tradition since 2002 serving 200 students and now has grown into a district wide program covering all LISD schools and over 3500 students and their families.

LISD's Adopt An Angel Gift Program is a digital adoption process with gifts, gift cards, or monetary donations being dropped off at one location: (Please see tab on HOW TO DELIVER GIFTS to see times to drop off)

The Lewisville High School Student Council has organized its 24th annual LISD Adopt an Angel Gift Program, a gift donation campaign created to provide a wonderful holiday experience for less fortunate children – newborns through 19 year olds – across district schools.
The Lewisville High School Student Council has organized its 24th annual LISD Adopt an Angel Gift Program, a gift donation campaign created to provide a wonderful holiday experience for less fortunate children – newborns through 19 year olds – across district schools.
Angels are nominated by LISD school counselors and Communities In Schools of North Texas social workers, who compile a list of each child’s “needs” and “wants.” All district schools are invited to nominate Angels and the adoption list has already topped 3,000 children – and it continues to grow by the day.

Also part of the LISD Adopt an Angel Gift Program expansion is the LHS Student Council inviting VIP's from the area, community groups, and other student leaders from the four district high schools – Flower Mound, Hebron, Marcus and The Colony – to participate in the wrapping the presents. Lewisville High School will deliver presents to the school of each particular Angel before the district releases for holiday break.

MEET THE VOLUNTEERS THAT MAKE IT HAPPEN!
How It Began…
“In 2001, after a heartbreaking experience where our faculty donated gifts through an angel tree program—only to discover the gifts never made it directly to the children—I knew we, as a district and strong community, could do better for our students and families. Now, 24 years later, the LISD Angel Gift Program stands as one of the most rewarding initiatives we have ever launched.
I’m proud that Lewisville ISD and Lewisville High School are continuing this campaign and even more excited that it has expanded to include all of Lewisville ISD. All LISD campuses are invited to join and submit names for the LISD Adopt An Angel Gift Program.
The students who participate in this project are forever changed. They discover that working hard for someone else’s joy can bring joy into their own lives. They also learn how to plan, organize, and carry out a project of this size. Because of their work with Adopt An Angel, they grow as individuals and as leaders.
It brings me so much happiness to know children will have a better holiday because of the efforts of LISD’s schools and communities. And now, we have a large LISD location - the former Garden Ridge Elementary School - that will house this huge project. We are so grateful for the entire LISD community!”

“Our Angel Gift Program is so special because it gives us the opportunity to significantly impact children and their families throughout Lewisville ISD. The program supports those with financial struggles not only by gifting them with toys and games, but by supplying necessities, such as clothing and gift cards for groceries. The child you’re adopting could be a neighbor, a classmate or even a good friend."
