The United Nations launched the '2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)' and proposed 17 core objectives for global governments and businesses to collectively comply with. These goals emphasized the concept of sustainability and the holistic development of individuals. Furthermore, they align with human rights principles that advocate for dignity, autonomy, inclusivity, equality, and non-discrimination.
Upon reviewing recent high-profile news events, including international conflicts, regional disputes, gender and racial controversies, and the oppression faced by vulnerable groups, it has drawn the attention of all global citizens to acknowledge the importance of human rights, peace, justice, regulatory transformation, acceptance and understanding. Caring for vulnerable individuals, and to mitigate the impact of the oppression caused by an imbalanced power structure, it requires the formulation of concrete and practical action plans to meet their urgent need. These plans can shed the light on the root of the problems, and take steps to reverse the existing inequalities or biases. Therefore, we invite you to present some of the key conflict issues and propose their measures of their protections based on the indicators of the SDGs.
