On August 17, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Suchada Pongkittivibul,(Ph.D.), Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Burapha University, welcomed the executive committee, faculty, staff, and students from Pusan National University, Republic of Korea. The delegation was led by:

Accompanying them were seven students majoring in Korean Language and Literature: Mr. Younghwan Gwon, Mr. Seungjae Lee, Mr. Seongmin Park, Ms. Seohyeon Ok, Ms. Chaeyoon Kang, Ms. Hyorim Jin, and Ms. Jungann You.
This visit was part of the 8th Academic Activities on Korean Language and Culture, which took place from August 17 to 23, 2026, for first- to fourth-year Korean language students. The program provided students with the opportunity to learn directly from native speakers, practice their communication skills, gain a deeper understanding of the language and culture, and develop essential 21st-century competencies in preparation for becoming globally competent graduates.
From August 2 to 8, 2026, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Burapha University organized the Global Citizenship Program. This initiative aimed to provide a space for Thai and international students to learn, share experiences, and immerse themselves in Thai society and culture through both classroom learning and outdoor activities.
During the program, the Faculty welcomed 27 faculty members and international students from five universities across four countries:

Hankuk University of Foreign Studies

Kanda University of International Studies
Additionally, 10 students from the Faculty participated as cross-cultural learning facilitators throughout the program.
Congratulations to Assistant Professor Narueporn Saelee, a faculty member in the Chinese Language Program at the Department of Eastern Languages, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Burapha University. She has been selected to participate in the 2026 International Summer Workshop on Professional Development for Local Chinese Language Teachers, focusing on adapting to digital transformation. The workshop will be held in Shanghai, People's Republic of China, from August 2 to August 22, 2026.
Congratulations to Mr. Yudai Akutsu, a student in the Department of Eastern Languages, Japanese Language Program, for being selected as an exchange student at Toyo University, Japan, from September 2026 to August 2027.
Congratulations to Associate Professor Narong Pleerak,(Ph.D.) a faculty member of the Department of Geoinformatics in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Burapha University. He has been awarded the Global Research Opportunities for the South (GROW) - Preparatory and Cooperation Visits scholarship by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). This scholarship will support his visit to the German Institute for Tourism Research at FH Westküste University of Applied Sciences in the Federal Republic of Germany, scheduled from November 1 to November 30, 2026.

The camp will take place from July 19 to August 1, 2026, at Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City, Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The selected participants are:

Congratulations to Assistant Professor Kanokporn Sriyanalak,(Ph.D.), a faculty member of the Department of Eastern Languages within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She has been selected to participate in the 2026 Training Seminar on the Application of Artificial Intelligence to Enhance Chinese Language Teaching. This event will take place in Beijing, People's Republic of China, from July 20 to August 3, 2026.
Her participation is funded by the Center for the Development of Chinese Language Education for Overseas Chinese, in collaboration with the Beijing Language and Culture College, and supported by university funding as part of the seminar.
Congratulations to Ms. Natthanicha Khammeekhrue, a student majoring in English for Communication in the Department of Western Languages, on her selection to participate in the AUN Summer Camp 2026.
