My name is Jenny Trites. This will be my fourth year teaching at Westmount, and my 11th year teaching music. I studied at Memorial University (B. Mus, B. Ed) and Acadia (M.Ed)

In addition to my work as an educator, I'm a pianist, choral musician, composer, and sound designer. I appreciate all kinds of music, but my playlist is most likely to feature folk, low-fi hip hop, musical theatre, jazz, and pop.

In addition to music, I love swimming, hiking, cooking, star-trek, and board games. I have two rescue cats, Luna and Willow, who love to make unexpected appearances in my videos and Google Meets.
