What are School Advisory Councils (SAC)?

School advisory councils (SAC) are advisory bodies to individual school principals, as well as the Annapolis Valley Region Centre for Education (AVRCE). They provide recommendations on a variety of issues related to their local school and the overall school system. The council is made up of staff, students, parents and community members. A budget will be provided to the school to support student achievement.
