Honours at Sydney Academy is calculated on an overall average of 80 or above, in at least 7 courses for grade 11 and 8 courses for grade 10, and 6 courses for grade 9. English must be an 80 or higher and no mark in the entire year, regardless of using the course for calculating averages or not, can be below 70.
