Specific courses have been designed for Grade Nine students in their preparation for the rigours of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. The IB Program requires critical thinking, problem solving, higher order research, and advanced writing skills that go beyond what is normally required. Students who select these courses will follow the Nova Scotia Public School Program of Studies in an enriched learning environment reflecting the IB Learner Profile and Global Perspective.

Grade 9 with Integrated French
Grade 9 with Integrated French
These courses will allow students to prepare for the Integrated French Certificate as well as the IB Program and the Bilingual IB Diploma. Students will study two courses where French is the language of instruction (French Language Arts and Citizenship). Students enrolled in the Integrated French Program may sit for the OPI (oral proficiency interview) in grade 12.
