Congratulations to the coaches and players from Avon View and Barrington who worked very hard to be a part of this historic event, which saw each team host a game in a best 2 of 3 series to advance to Provincials. Barrington came out as the victors, and advanced to provincials while becoming the first Regional Champion in the history of Girls Baseball. In reality, both teams were the real winners by putting girls baseball on the map in our region. 

Above is a photo from September 29th of the first ever Division 1 Girls Western Region Champions - Barrington Barons, who will represent our region at Provincials being held October 17-18 in the Northumberland Region.
