2nd Bible Hill & Valley Scouting
2nd Bible Hill & Valley Beavers, Cubs and Scouts will be starting their new scouting year the week of September 16, 2019. The Beavers will meet at the St. David’s church basement, Tuesday, September 17th from 6:30 to 7:30. Cubs will meet at Valley Elementary School, Wednesday, September 18th, 6:00 to 7:30 and Scouts at St. David’s basement, Wednesday, September 18th from 6:30 to 8:30.
St. David’s has long history of sponsoring the Guide and Scout movement in the Village. Girls and boys would be participating in one of the most recognized and established programs for developing outdoor skills, leadership, self esteem and community involvement through crafts, activities, games, hikes, camps and other outdoor events and challenges.
Scouting is also a great place for youth to meet as friends or make new friends. All sections are co-ed so girls as well as boys are encouraged to join.
Beaver age is 5 to 7 and they meet in the church from 6:30 to 7:30. Cubs, 8 to 10 years of age typically meet at Valley Elementary School from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Scouts are from 11 to 14 and meet at the church from 6:30 to 8:30. The scouting year runs from about the middle of September to the middle of May.
If you want to make a positive difference in the life of a young person, 2nd Bible Hill and Valley is also looking for volunteers for the upcoming scouting year.

Welcome to another school year. Our staff is very excited to work with your children this year. Before school starts we want to ensure that all of our students are in the best environment possible. With this in mind we are including a notice regarding severe allergies. Please review and adhere to the notice.
Thank you in advance.
Severe Allergies – Nuts and Eggs
Redcliff Middle School is a nut and egg aware school as we have students with severe / life threatening allergies to nuts and eggs. Peanut butter or other products containing nuts along with eggs or products containing eggs are not to be brought to school. Examples of this would be peanut butter, granola bars that are not peanut free, certain packaged snack foods that are not peanut free, mayonnaise, ranch and caesar salad dressing to list some examples. We are also a scent aware school. This means that staff and students are not to use sprays or perfumes.
