we all work together to create a community where everyone feels like they belong, kindness is valued, friendships are fostered and we strive to do our best everyday.
Port Williams Elementary School is a rural school with a population approximately 220 students in grades pre-primary to five. The school was built in 1966 and was extended to include a gymnasium, modern music room, library and additional classrooms in 1984.
Staff is committed to providing all students with learning experiences in which they will grow in their sense of identity belonging and personal empowerment in a relational, supportive, and student-centered environment.
Students' learning is enriched by the support of our Home and School Association, School Advisory Committee, families, and the surrounding community. The Port Williams Nutrition for Health Committee is fundamental in supporting our breakfast, snack and lunch program.
