School Advisory Council (SAC)
What are School Advisory Councils?
The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a legally recognized body composed of the principal and elected representatives of teachers, support staff, parents and community members who work together in an advisory capacity to enhance the quality of education being provided by the school.
The purpose of the SAC is to ensure that all students receive the best possible learning opportunities by engaging all partners in an ongoing process of shared discussion, planning and development of our Continuous School Improvement goals (CSI).
Our SAC meets seven times a school year. Elections for open executive positions are held each September. All SAC meetings are open to the public. Check out the SAC tab on the school website for meeting times and SAC updates on school issues. Contact the school principal for further information.
