Announcements
Land Acknowledgement
We would like to acknowledge that it is our privilege to work, play, live, and learn in Mi'kma'ki, the traditional and unsurrendered land of the Mi’kmaq people. We recognize that we are descendants of settlers and that acknowledgments continue to be important to remind us that we must sustain the process of listening and learning which are integral to reconciliation. We are all treaty people.
African Nova Scotian Acknowledgement
We recognize that African Nova Scotians are a distinct people whose histories, legacies, and contributions have enriched that part of Mi'kma'ki known as Nova Scotia for over 400 years.

On Friday the boys had a play off double header against CK. A big comeback in Game 1. We went into the 6th down 6 runs. We scored 15 and then held on to win 25-20. Game two we played much better defensively and the bats came alive to finish it up 24-10. Jesse Sinclair hit 2 no doubt home runs including a grand slam in the 15 run inning. Eli Sweeney and Josh Sherrard also went yard. Eli picked up the win in game 2 in his pitching debut.
Next playoff double header is Tuesday in Hubbards vs Forest Heights. We leave school at 2:30.
Mental Health Week:
This week is Mental Health Week! Mental health impacts how we think, feel, learn, connect with others, and handle stress. Just like physical health, it is vital to take care of our minds, and this week we will challenge you to be mindful of your mental health and to take time to care for yourself.
