After School Program

NS BAP - After School Program

This school’s NS BAP After School Program is run by the New Ross Family Resource Centre. 

Location: Directly next to New Ross Consolidated School in the New Ross Family Resource Centre.

Dates of Operation: All regular school days, including CLT days.

This does not include PD days, snow days, holidays, Winter Break, March Break, or Summer Break.

Days of the Week: Monday - Friday.

Hours: Dismissal until 6:00 p.m. daily. 

This program does not occur on unexpected early dismissal days.

Grades/Ages: Children enrolled in the Pre-primary Program, and grades P-6.

About NS BAP 

The Nova Scotia Before and After Program (NS BAP) is available to families of children ages 4 to 12, who are enrolled in the Nova Scotia Pre-primary Program or the public education system. This program is delivered by approved child care, municipal recreation or recognized non-profit recreation providers. It is delivered on-site at the school, so children and students have a seamless day. The program promotes health, well-being and a physically active lifestyle by focusing on physical literacy, movement and outdoor play.

Subsidy Information
