Don't Forget!
- Although spring is approaching, we can still have very cold days; please make sure you have boots, snow pants, a hat and mittens. A change of clothes in your backpack is always a good idea too!
- To bring a clean mask each day and pack an extra one in your bookbag!
- A full water bottle, there are no more cups left in the school.
- We have an afternoon recess now, so if you are hungry after lunch, pack an extra snack!
Important Dates and Information...
- From Monday March 8-Friday March 12, we will have spirit week at MVEC!
Monday- Twin Day- Partner up and have someone dress the same as you...or you as them...
Tuesday: Future Self-Day- Dress up as what you want to do, or be, when you're older
Wednseday: Crazy Hair/Hat Day (*the use of strongly scented hairsprays is discouraged)
Thursday: Grade Level, or School Clothing, Day- dress up in your class' colour (PP- Green; P/1- Red; 1/2- Blue, 3/4- Purple or Grey, 4/5-Pink or Yellow, 6- Orange) or wear your school swag!
Friday- Pajama Day
- March Break is from March 15-19.
- No school for students on Wednesday March 24 due to Assessment and Evaluation Day.
- Reports cards going home between March 29 and April 8.

Curriculum Night
Due to COVID-19, we are unable to host a formal curriculum night at M.V.E.C. Therefore, I will post our curriculum night handout here. On September 24, I will also send home a paper copy to families.
*Those who are interested in purchasing books through Scholastic's Reading Club;information about this will be coming home with curriculum night documents.
