Hi! My name is Margaret Kromminga, or Ms. Kromminga as your little one will know me as. I am thrilled to be teaching Grade 1 and 2 at Oyster Pond Academy this year. I have spent the last 4 years at OPA teaching either grade 1 or grade 2. Prior to that, I was at another HRCE school and before that I spent a year teaching in Scotland. 

I love to spend time with my family, go hiking, take in the ocean views and ride my bike. Every Saturday morning you can find me at a farmers market catching up with friends. I've fallen in love with the Eastern Shore in the last few years and you can sometimes find me on the trails around here. This summer I solo hiked Cape Chignecto. It felt like a huge accomplishment. When I'm home, I love to eat chocolate chip cookies, read books, and cross stitch. You can often find me on my couch then.
