UFLI Resources
UFLI (University of Florida Literacy Institute) Foundations is an explicit and systematic phonics program designed to teach foundational reading skills, especially for students in kindergarten through second grade, and for intervention with struggling readers at any grade level. In our class, it is used in conjunction with a variety of other approaches to support different types of learners on their path to becoming independent readers and writers.
In our class monthly and weekly calendars, it is specified which UFLI concepts are being covered in class during that week/month. The following links are for your information only. If you are looking for an extra copy of a class weekly or monthly calendar, please contact me at amymurray@gnspes.ca. Calendars are sent home each week/month in your child's red communication folder.
