Pass mark for the safety tests is 100% as required by the Department. All students must qualify to use the machines by passing the safety test each year. All the answers will be provided in advance and a demonstration on the machine will be completed before the test. Just take the time to memorize the answers, you will do fine.
Being a little afraid to use the machines is completely normal!
Grade 7 projects involve building a compressed air power race car. Research is encouraged for the project. These are not like Cub Cars. Everyone that has ever stuck there arm out the window of a car has learned the basic aerodynamics for this project.
Race Day for all classes is the last Day of the term and will be announced in the near future. Cars must be fully assembled BEFORE the Race Day class. (There will not be enough time to complete racing if assembly must be done on race day.
