Welcome.
If you are here for support with an assignment, refer back to the Google Classroom to find several resources to help you. Detailed instructions, and the assignments themselves, are all on the Google Classroom. Please email me (tdobson@hrce.ca) if you need the Classroom code information etc. The Google Classroom is also where ALL assignments must be submitted. Do NOT share the files with me as they can get lost/blocked by email filters. Always submit your work directly to me (in person) or via the Google Classroom.

Pedagogy
I incorporate technology and hands on learning whenever possible in my courses. I want students to find new ways to connect curriculum to their everyday lives. To make their schoolwork personal.
Students are given choice and alternate methods to show their learning when the curriculum allows. I encourage students to create work based not just on the topics I assign them, but to reflect upon their own lived experiences.
I encourage students to find ways of doing things that were not even possible ten years ago. If students are to become the future leaders our world will need, they will need to forge new paths, not just try to adapt our old ideas.
